chocolate birds nests (Happy Easter treat #1!)

A simple Easter treat to please both kids and adults.

This is a slight variation from the Changs Chocolate Fried Noodle Spiders ( see previous post : http://wp.me/p2xKQE-1o ). For the kids, I recommend using milk chocolate over dark and I also added in some moist coconut flakes to give it a coconut rough feel. I also think that milk chocolate gives a better birds nest colour than dark.

The mini eggs I purchased from big W. If you can’t find mini easter eggs then peanut m&ms would do.

As with all my kids treats, for minimal effort you get maximum impact. With a lot of the recipes on this blog, it’s to show that its easy to make cute tasty party treats that will please the masses.
