Baked donuts with Nutella filling

Have been dying to do a treat which incorporates Nutella. Have always been a fan on this chocolate hazelnut spread since childhood. Nutella sandwiches were oh so good. For some reason it was ok to a child to have a chocolate spread between two slices of white bread. These days that would be considered child abuse.

My recent love for Nutella was revived in Paris with Nutella and Banana crepes. I could have eaten those the whole time I was there. Back to the donuts …

This is a recipe I’ve taken and adapted from taste.com. Instead of muffins I used a patty cake tin to make them look more donut looking.

Best served warm but 15 seconds in the microwave and they taste as if it was fresh from the oven.
