I decided to make not 1 but 2 variations of a red velvet dessert. I learnt this off google but the secret to the red colouring staying red is the vinegar. Otherwise the colour would burn off during baking. I tried making blue velvet desserts but they turned out green because of the yolk in the egg so that was a massive fail.
The red velvet oreos are red velvet shortbread cookies with a whipped white chocolate ganache filling.
